My Go-To Airport Outfits to Travel in Style (and Comfort)

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do, but picking the perfect airport outfits for the journey can be a bit of a challenge. You want to be stylish enough to feel good about those inevitable travel selfies, but you also want to be comfy enough to actually enjoy the trip. It’s a balancing act of fashion and function, which, thankfully, isn’t as hard to achieve as it sounds.

When I first started traveling regularly, I’d often find myself either too dressed up to relax or too dressed down to feel put together once I arrived at my destination. Over time, though, I’ve figured out some go-to combinations that tick all the right boxes. Comfy shirt dresses are a staple in my travel wardrobe because they are effortlessly chic and incredibly comfortable. A well-chosen shirt dress can transition seamlessly from day to night, making it perfect for travel. Look for one made from breathable, wrinkle-resistant fabric that is a bit oversized—this makes it easy to move around and stay comfortable throughout your journey.
